I had pretty much given up on it. I’m watching it on Acorn.
It’s absolutely the final season. Nine episodes, including the Christmas special, plus an additional BTS special ep. Enjoy!

I don’t known if it’s on PBS. I have an Acorn account on my Roku and I’m binging it there.

I haven’t seen it on PBS yet, but it has been on Vision TV.
I love the series, but I was taken aback to see how much the regular cast had aged since the Pandemic. 
I might be wrong, but I don’t think even season 9 ever came to PBS. I think Acorn TV bought the first run rights for the US and then never made it available to PBS.
This show and Murdoch Mysteries are why I subscribed to Acorn.
Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime are definitely not the only games in town.
