Hey, it’s Tuesday? I was off yesterday. 
**BBBobbio **- you’ll forgive me if I cast a skeptical look your way. :dubious: I seem to recall last week you scared the puddin’ outta me with threats of snow and all we got was rain… 
On the other hand, it makes me feel less tacky about postponing my fest.
I’ve got a fire going in the basement, so it should warm up there pretty soon. Then I’ll need to dress and take all the molding downstairs so I can paint it. I should probably take the paint down also, huh? I’m having a tough time getting motivated this morning…

Depending on where you started the fire in your basement, the rest of your house could get very warm and not in a good way.
No worries - I’ve got a metal bucket - that’ll keep the ashes out of the sawdust…

Thank you everyone. I really was excited about this. We took a picture at 50 and I couldn’t tell much difference at all. It really bummed me out so I was pleasantly surprised at this one.

I have had the stomach virus since Sunday evening. Lord, I haven’t been this sick in over 20 years. I was happy that this morning I didn’t puke upon arising (no, I’m NOT pregnant!) and actually ate half a bowl of cornflakes and had a cup of tea. This totally blows.

Nothing quite like discovering that a cat has peed on the comforter and it soaked thru the blanket, top sheet, and bottom sheet, to the mattress pad. Thankfully, it didn’t hit the memory foam topper, so yay for that! But that’s an unexpected laundry bonus for today. Oh, and, of course, it was on my side of the bed.
I suspect it was Ziva because the idiot dog attacks her any time she gets close to the litter box. That’s the problem with me being home all day - Ziva doesn’t have the run of the place. When we’re at work, Higgs is crated, so both cats are safe. Oh well, I’ll be back to work tomorrow.
First coat of paint on all trim and molding. There’s a nice fire downstairs and the fan on the insert really moves the heat around. I should be able to do a second coat in an hour or so. Meanwhile, it’s leftovers for lunch.
Incidentally, daytime TV on basic cable is pretty sucky. And it’s still freekin’ cold outside! 25°F!!! :eek:

N.O.L. has been et. Cabbage, turnip greens and spinach. Dindin shall be ham and N.O.T. soup and sallit. Should be nummy.
Ok, on to the next appointment. Maybe this one will actually bring in the documentation I asked for. Or not. It’s really a 50/50 chance based on how it’s gone so far today. Rah.
Awwwww - I got an early happy b-day email from my ex-boss. I’m impressed that he remembered (translation: put it on his outlook calendar) and that he took the time to email me.
Still washing peed-upon bedclothes. And I’ve discovered that my comforter really is crappy - all the batting has gotten lumpy and relocated to non-warming places. I hate comforters. I don’t even know why I bought the stupid thing… Oh well.
I supposed I should go put another coat of paint on the quarter round and assorted molding pieces.
It’s such a burden being me.
Ta - today was better, I just need to remember to keep busy!
And yes, buy the perfume

I have been convinced today is Wednesday up until about 20 mins ago when I was asking a co-worker about a meeting tomorrow. Which it turns out is not actually tomorrow but is in 2 days time.
All freaking day I was convinced and I even worked yesterday. I think that last tenuous grip I had on my marbles is slipping. Fast.
Anyway glad to hear BabyGirl is still BabyGirl Apes.
mom if you need more bedding to wash I was going to change the spare beds this weekend so I can send 'em on over!

Second coat of paint has been applies and it’s drying. As soon as I make the last washer-to-dryer transfer, I’m going to scrape some carrots and N.O.T. for the pot roast. Gotta chunk up some onions, too. Supper should be yum!
OK, it’s 15 minutes to poll closing time (and Exit Polls’ broadcast) – and I’d be biting my nails if I had anything left to bite… :eek:
