There's Treasure Inside - Discussion And Ideas

Honestly I just want to discuss possible locations of the treasure in the book by author Jon Collins Black titled “There’s Treasure Inside”

Please share any ideas you have

Never heard of the book or the author, and there is nothing on either Wiki-wise. What can you tell us about this?

Yeah. This rich guy wrote a book and hid about $2 million worth of random gold and artifacts across 5 states in the USA. none have been found. Look up “there’s treasure inside” on google and there should be a few articles.

Here’s what I found out via a quick online search.

There’s a guy named Jon Collins Black who made a lot of money in crypto-currency. He hid twelve caches of “treasure” around the country last year and then wrote a book which gave clues to their locations. Three of the treasures have been found so far.

different book, same idea. that one is called “the secret”
This one is much more recent

Okay.

Here’s two websites with more information.

According to his website none have been found, and there are some other websites that claim to have interpreted the clues…but if that were actually true don’t you think they would have just taken the treasure for themselves?

I know

None of the clues out there have panned out?

not really. I’m still searching tho.

Please share some clues you have figured out.

Ok. Well… I’m doing the box dedicated to the forrest fenn box, and i have noticed some similarities between the poem “the thrill of the chase” and the poem in the book, as well as some spelling errors. I don’t have a big lead but I have something

actually I am on the mysterious writings forum, we go more in depth there, and discuss leads and possible clues. tell me if u want a link.

Wasn’t the Forest Fenn box responsible for the deaths of five searchers? I thought these kinds of treasure hunts were considered ill-advised and borderline criminally irresponsible now.

no, its a box containing some of the treasures from the OG box. easy to get confused. the original Forrest Fenn box was found already

I get that this is a new treasure hunt, but what is stopping this one from having the same tragic consequences as the Fenn box?

With any book like this, how do you know the author is telling the truth? It’s a lot cheaper and easier to write a book full of clues without the actual buried treasure than it is to do it with. Or to claim 10 treasures, and then bury only 2 where they’ll be easily found to build up hype.

The author explicitly said that it was less than 3 miles away from a road, in an accessible location, and he didn’t want anyone getting hurt. and to answer @Chronos, this dude was a Bitcoin millionaire, and he loved searching for the Fenn treasure. he has people who have seen the boxes before he hid them, and he got all the treasures on auction, for a somewhat low price (for the treasure, that is)

Is the land legally accessible to the public? Do the caretakers/owners of those lands allow treasure hunters to search their properties?
BTW, is there a bio of Jon Collins-Black available that isn’t just a promo for his book/treasure hunt?

There is a place off Nova Scotia called Oak Island. Maybe a treasure is there.
