They broke into my car again.

Motherfuckers.

Last time was near McLaren Park. This time was across the street from Mission Dolores. They smashed in the small window in the corner of the back passenger door, and took my backpack. Thankfully there wasn’t too much in it… I’m out a phone charger and electric shaver, along with the rest of my overnight bag.

Bunch of savages in this town.

Sorry that happened, but you did tempt them by leaving stuff where they could see it.

Granted, some low-lifes will trash your car because you DIDN’T have anything to take.

Sorry to hear your car was broken into again. It sucks to have your car broken into.
Not that this helps but my friend had her car broken into while she was visiting San Francisco. They broke her side window to get into her car but she didn’t have anything in there they wanted so they broke into her trunk and stole her bowling ball & bag and her tire chains.

Dude, The West Coast is worse than Nottingham Forest!
I just picked up an Izumi triple-headed Shaver at Big Lots for $15.

Obviously, you need a Trunk Monkey.

Twice in about a month. Not much to say except: suck.

Bullshit.

Let me elaborate:

Low lifes see two cars:

One has nothing visible and likely has a crappy factory stereo.

One has a backpack that may or may not have valuable stuff in it.

Which one is more likely to be broken into?

Go fuck yourself.

You should’ve stuck with the rolleyes; it implied you had a valid point. Let me elaborate:

One guy parks his car in the city where he lives, locks it, and goes off to live his life.

One guy breaks somebody else’s car window and steals his stuff.

Which one needs to have people telling him what he did wrong?

Can’t, my dildo got stolen from my car. It’s my own fault, though; I just left it out there tempting everyone who saw it. And everybody knows that it’s just basic human nature to break through glass windows to takek stuff that doesn’t belong to them. I should’ve known better.

The one without common sense.

Yeah, it sucks to get ripped off, but there are some things you can do to prevent it. This ain’t Leave It To Beaver World.

YOU might be one of the good guys, but there’s plenty of bad guys who don’t give a flaming rat’s ass about how good you are. You have something they want. They will take it. Why tempt them any more than you have to?

Because I’d rather not go through life paranoid and frantic, looking over my shoulder all the time. Yeah, it’s a trade-off- If I don’t wrap my car in teflon-coated impenetrable steel, shit might get stolen. But if I don’t, it doesn’t make a thief any less of a douchebag.

::applauds::

Yeah, you know the breaks, obviously, and you’ll change your behaviour as you see fit.

But in some places its not a bad idea to let the crook see every part of the car to be sure that it doesn’t have anything worth stealing, including opening the glove box, etc.

Fine by me. Just leave the door unlocked and save on window replacement costs.

Being just a little more careful does not equal paranoid and frantic, btw.
