Hello, Doperfriends!
Once again I am on a MST3K movie quest. Have the boys and the bots done Dracula (Or anything resembling Dracula??)?

They never did any version of Dracula. Off the top of my head I don’t recall ever seeing a vampire movie on MST3K.
Uh-uh-uh… Number 624: Sampson vs. the Vampire Women.
No Dracula, though.
Well, I never saw that one. I didn’t have cable for several years of MST3K’s run and then by the time I did get cable the show had moved to Sci Fi and I didn’t get that channel.
Maybe no Dracula but Mexican masked wrestlers!!! Oh boy!
Granted, Otto, that vampire movies showed up on MST3K much, much, much more rarely than zombie movies, though.
El Santo! El Santo will save us!
P.S.:do a google search for “mst3k archive” to check out details
Does “It Lives By Night” count? It has a person becoming a bat-creature-thing, which is kinda close, I guess, maybe…
And don’t forget, the “Hamlet” that they did was actually an English dubbed German film, not the best production of the Bard’s work
Very few vampires, true, but I think the one about the weerullwelves more than made up for it with…it were absaluttly fussinading… (show #904)
And it had the least talented member of the Sheen/Estevez clan in it, too!
According to the trivia for Wild World of Batwoman, it was also called “She Was a Hippy Vampire.” Plus, there’s that pointless scene at the beginning with the giggling idiots drinking strawberry yogurt. One of the idiots mentions something about vampires, so I guess that would also count. I can’t be sure because I have no idea what was going on in that movie.
How about zombies? Zombies do anything for you? Cause there’s always “The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies.” Of course, the actual zombies don’t really show up until the last 10 minutes, but that’s just part of the charm.
Oh, and “Manos: Hands of Fate” wasn’t about vampires, but he was some sort of creepy type monster guy. Kind of close. Sorta.
Bela Lugosi appears in “Bride of the Monster,” although he plays a mad scientist, not a vampire.
Speaking of Hamlet, I just got that episode today on dvd! MST3K goodness happening tonight!
Dude, is that a riddle? Honestly, I can’t figure out who you’re referring to.
Joe Estevez (Martin Sheen’s brother) is in Werewolf, in a fairly minor role as the dig worker who (I believe) gets wolfed first.
Joe Estevez, brother of Martin Sheen, is in Werewolf. He’s also in Soultaker, in a more prominint role.
Some quotes from Soultaker:
<Servo, as girl to Joe Estevez> Aren’t you due on the set of ‘Werewolf’?
<Crow> Dummy, didn’t you see that ‘Warning - Joe Estevez Crossing’ sign?
<Crow> You know, it’s just not death with dignity if there’s an Estevez in the room.
<Crow, at credit ‘Starring Joe Estevez’> Does anything really ‘star’ Joe Estevez? Isn’t that some kind of an oxymoron? <Mike> Some kind of moron.
And here’s one from Werewolf:
<Mike, as Joe Estevez> I’m Martin Sheen’s Brother. Does that help?
I guess I should have hit ‘refresh’ before posting.
Don’t forget the classic line when Joe is hanging around while the other characters discover the skeleton:
<Crow> GOODBYE JOE!
