I saw the Lundgren Punisher on late-night network TV (TNT, IIRC) and it was pretty good as B action flicks go. Dolph hammed it up as he always does, but he at least tried to give his character some depth. That and the rather absurd action scenes really made it work for me.

Yes, hands up I did not know they had made a Punisher film and from the sounds of it I am glad that I didn’t. If you want to try and make an insult out of it then be free to waste your time.

The only thing I remember about this movie was that horrible Nickelback song they used in the commercials.
Whoa. I’m sorry if you took my post as an insult. It was, as jarbabyj pointed out, a joke. Not knowing that a poor movie had been made and released (for all of 2 weeks) does not make you any less of a person, quite the opposite in fact. My apologies if I offended.
Now if only there were a child’s game with each player getting four round-bottomed, plastic pieces that you move around a board in an attempt to get “home”. That would be cool too.
