I don’t see how that is Gilligan’s fault. He didn’t propose the use of the tree sap; he didn’t make the tree sap. He was OBSERVED using the sap for an entirely different purpose. Next you’ll be blaming him for not letting the hunter-guy kill him in the “Most Dangerous Game” parody.
From the other examples given, I’m sure if he had, he’d have saved the rest of the strand-ees a world of trouble. ![]()
