Both Highlander II & ST V exist.
I have no opinion on Delaware. It strikes me as odd that there are no presidents from this alleged state, though.

The joke stopped being funny after the first YEAR.

The Minnow had a large but potentially repairable hole in it. When the Professor couldn’t fashion adequate nails to secure planks over the hole, they used the ultra-sticky tree sap Gilligan discovered as glue (he’d originally been trying for pancake syrup). Unfortunately, the glue broke down after just a day or two and in the process caused the Minnow to completely disintegrate. Partial blame goes to the Professor- he signed off on using the glue.
I don’t see how that is Gilligan’s fault. He didn’t propose the use of the tree sap; he didn’t make the tree sap. He was OBSERVED using the sap for an entirely different purpose. Next you’ll be blaming him for not letting the hunter-guy kill him in the “Most Dangerous Game” parody.
From the other examples given, I’m sure if he had, he’d have saved the rest of the strand-ees a world of trouble.
