Ouch. Yes, both methods make sense (thanks), but I was hoping for an easier way. IIRC, before the update, simply quoting a post got all the interior quotes to come along. Now it’s a matter of tracking down all the disparate quotes (which can be a PITA if the thread/quotes span multiple pages or if the interior quote is an already snipped version of the earlier post). It also risks timeouts and delays as you go from > reference to > reference, loading up each quote.
Not whining about the help, mind you – I tend to balance between not needing the interior quotes, C&P the entire original post into Word and entering names manually, and hunting down all the multi-quote segments, all depending on the thread and my point (when I have one). But a shift-click-quote or some other one-step/old way of doing things would have been nice.
