Things I say that make no sense

Today I was at the library checking out a stack of books. The teenage guy behind me commented that I must like to read. My pithy response was “Yup. I just loves me some books.” Where the heck did that come from? I never talk like that.

At the post office (again today) the words “Peachy keen, jellybean” came out of my mouth when the lady behind the counter asked how I was doing. :smack:

My daughter is right. Us old people really are strange. I’m 37. What will I say 20 years from now?

Sheesh.

I would have paid cash money to see the look on her face when you said that.

You’re obviously being possessed. The Demon Pazuzu or The Puppet Master or someone else is making you say these things to embarass you. It’s only a test before they start getting into the physical comedy.

Okay, at that point, start selling tickets…
