I’m worried about actual or rumored mass shootings at polling places in areas with high Democratic demographics. Taking voter suppression to a new level. The long lines don’t help.

There is no apology or rationalization. Memories that far back are more or less worthless. That is simply a scientific fact.
People remember a lot of things that never happened. The mandela Effect is one such instance.

Hundreds of thousands have remembered they met aliens, and been probed also.
Memories are tricky and old memories are next to worthless. That doesnt mean people are lying, just that that memory has been corrupted by bias, past happenings, and other occurrences.
When I think of two people who have launched full blown presidential campaigns that involve months of gruelling travel, “lazy” is definitely the word I associate with that.

You can have antipathy towards a person as much as you want and still recognize that they had plenty of career options outside of politics. Cruz clerked for Rehnquist right out of law school, he could have had a thriving law practice for the rest of his career if he didn’t get into politics.
