I realized that some things make me smile today. on lunch break, I saw a HUGE german shepherd with it’s head sticking out of the front window (it was sitting in back) of a small geo metro. the funny thing is, that the driver could’ve stood to lose some pounds.
it struck me as funny, and I laughed.
during second hr, I discovered a photo album in my bag, and looked through it, in it were pictures of my summer than my friends took. they had discreetly slipped it into my bag, and looking through it, I longed for summer and spaced out with a big goofy grin for about 10 minutes.
females with much natural beauty… just glancing at this one Junior at my school makes me smile widely. she is just so gorgeous, and I think she’s single, too
** Things that piss me off-- **
when people smack the bill of someone’s hat. grrr…
when people say “I could care less” when they mean “I couldn’t care less”
when people don’t respect your own unique opinions, and try to force theirs on you.
what makes me happy?

[li] my nephew[/li]A couple of days ago I went to pick up some pictures I took of my nephew during spring break. I looked through them before paying and couldn’t help but giggle. They were the typical bathtub pictures which I will torture him with later…all those bubbles in his hair, and that impish grin…It’s amazing to think of all the fascinating things he will experience. I get all emotional just thinking about it. I am such a sap.
[li] baby gurgling[/li][li] a good pun[/li][li] having a message on my answering machine[/li][li] a clean room and desk[/li][/ul] what makes me unhappy?
sheesh. just about everything else

The greatest band ever hasn’t toured in almost 20 years because their lead singer has stage fright.
And then, of course, one can never have too many raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens . . . especially when they’re all wrapped in brown paper and tied up with string . . .

What makes me happy:
taking over a shift where I don’t have to stress
having enough employees to handle the rushes
when my friends call me (no one ever does though! )
getting mail
having an early close
the fact that this is my 300th post
What pisses me off:
coming in to find that i’m running dinner with 5 people
seeing lines out the dining room door
having to write up my own sister cuz her drawer was short $20
closing, and then having to be back at work at 8 am
getting bitched at by customers
when people are late and they don’t call
when i’m sposed to have plans, and my friends never call me back like they’re supposed to
finding out that i might get robbed soon because 5 stores in the area have been hit so far
On a side note, every single thing that pisses me off happened tonight. Yeah, it was a good day.
The list of things that make me smile is a very long one, I try not to waste too much time stressing out over that other crappy stuff.
Smiles…
Being a dad - One of the high points of my day is when I come home from being out, Before I can even get my shoes off I am usually jumped on by two of the sweetest little girls you have ever seen. If my daughter is playing outside she will stop what she’s doing to run and jump into my arms and then insist on helping me carry my briefcase. One has to treasure these moments.
Looking at Lola… mmmmmmm!
My work - Yes, I love my job. I get to make people’s lives better and they let me know it.
Driving - I love my car, there is nothing like hitting the city limits on a sunny day and winding it up just a little with the music cranked.
It’s all good, but then again… it might just be the medication.
