Things that used to be tacky that are now normal

Before cell phones no one loudly discussed their personal lives in public.

Yeah, but even a seersucker or linen coat is hot as balls.

Putting you feet up at work and relaxing in your chair. Was a major taboo that you where very lazy person at work.:eek:

Now more people are doing it at work.

Even in some places in China!!

Being lazy was very tacky before that if where lazy you where slacker at work.

But than there are some people that are just way too lazy and this just looks tacky.:(:(:frowning:

Being overweight and fat was taboo.

Coming to work 5 minutes late or taking a day of work to take the kids to park or Zoo or what ever (kids day out) was taboo.

My nieces do this too.

Fathers taking time off to care for sick children was too. So was the idea of paternity leave, beyond MAYBE the day the baby was born.

Applauding a performance during a religious service
Applauding the national anthem

Naming an edifice (or any conspicuous result of engineering) after a living person.

Apparently Congress didn’t subscribe to that rule when they named our capital.

I think that’s the point.

People graduating from college with NO work experience of any kind. :rolleyes:

I always knew that Eiffel Tower was tacky!
