I’m going to be in L.A. in late April and would appreciate a local perspective on all things heavy metal, goth, punk, alternative etc. Apart from a possible visit to the Getty Museum, I’m planning to relax in the sun by day and hit clubs/live music venues by night.

I guess just pick up a copy of the L.A. Weekley and see what’s going on. I don’t hit the clubs much, but I hear the scene is pretty thin on decent metal. Who knows? Maybe you’ll get lucky and Motorhead or someone will be in town.
