We don’t have volunteers yet for the 24th or the 31st or January 7th. Haze had mentioned that she would start us out sometime soon, so maybe she’d like to pick one of these. I’ll be on vacation from the 28th till the 6th. Assuming no plane delays, I could do Monday the 7th. Maybe I’ll have something interesting to tell from my travels.

Our weather was kind of bad last night, but it had cleared up quite nicely by this morning. There’s been a little bit of snow, but nothing serious, thank goodness. We were supposed to have a winter storm warning till 2:00 or something, but by this morning they had canceled it.
You should still take a day or two for yourself, Taters. It’s very therapeutic.
I have a wonderful recipe for chicken soup with rice in it. It’s completely my favorite soup (well, one of them). It came from someone in my Mom’s garden club a long time ago.
I want to get started with Christmas cards. My cousin who writes long Christmas letters already got his out.

My nose has turned into some kind of weird slime producing organism. NOT like my cold, but as if all the old mucus, stored for years, nay, decades within my sinuses now has to come out. I cannot hear; my ears are popping; I blow and blow and not much comes out. The post-nasal drip is gagging me.
