To address the OP, how about: What is the nature of consciousness? Where is the mind? How does the sensation of consciousness derive from the chemical and electrical interactions of neurons?
A humble plea: even though this thread is probably in the wrong forum, I still find it a pretty interesting discussion, so to help the S/N ratio, please refrain from posting the corney and ancient one-liners, like “Why do birds sing” etc. - and the whole parkway/driveway thing (aargh!) and all its related ones that have been discussed ad nauseum.
