This thread. What a downer, man.
My job.
Breast feeding.
I agree on the candy, fast food, and a few of the others.
I can’t agree on work, 'cause I never liked it in the first place.
AND, without a doubt I must whole-heartedly agree on…
The Mall.
I never thought I’d hear myself say that, but I went this weekend and after about 15 minutes I had to get out of there. Did people in the country forget how to walk sometime in the last couple years? All these morons want to do is GET IN MY WAY. Why do they stand in the middle of the way and block me off? Why do they walk so slow? Why can’t they control their children? I control mine!
To say that the average mall-walker resembles a contestant in the special olympics is to insult the special olympians. At least they are TRYING to move fast.
And I really used to love the mall. Fuck it, I’ll order it off the net.

FM (classic) rock. Don’t get me wrong. I still like rock music, I enjoy live shows (but don’t go very often), and I have some well known favorite bands, mostly from the late 1960’s. But I really can’t take classic rock radio anymore. I’m unwilling to sit through all the Boston, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, Foreigner, BTO, Styx, Nazareth, and all the rest; not to mention the morning drive time goofball talk shows.
No kidding. Nowadays I’m into Jennifers.
Christmas hasn’t been fun since I figured out the Santa secret when I was five. Dad dying in early december kinda put a crimp in what little holiday cheer I had left. Halloween rocks more and more every year though.
I haven’t listened to the radio in ages, though I was once in it’s thrall, completely. The ‘mighty six ninety’ with Casey Kasem counting down the top forty had me tuned in every weekend, all in a dither over whether my favorite band would be number one. Now I spend an ungodly amount on cd’s I love and am very happy to have no freakin’ clue who’s number one.
I notice that some of my favorite things have been dropped by the wayside, but other things, some new, just keep getting better.
