My point, Miller, is that I would have made the same first post as I did if say… Lissener had started this thread and not Demo. I didn’t post to pat Demo on the back, I posted because, like Demo, those kinds of threads annoy the fuck of me. I’ll admit that I opened the thread originally because Demo posted it, but like I said before, I’m more inclined to open and post to threads that are started by people I like. Yourself included. That doesn’t mean that if I disagreed with Demo I would have posted just to stroke his ego. Nor if I dislike someone am I automatically going to disagree with them just because they are the ones that said whatever.

Yeah. It took maybe two minutes. I clicked on the screenname, selected “Show all posts by user,” and counted how many were in MPSIMS. She’s only made sixty posts. It took more time to type the response than it did to “research” it.
In Miller’s defense, Laserkitty only has like 60 or so posts - it wouldn’t take too long, or too much effort, to click the “find all posts” button and scroll the list. I highly doubt he actually counted them all, just said “half” as a rough estimate.

I do get it actually, the concept is not that hard.
Let’s say periodically somebody post’s a thread titled “I’m feeling depressed”. Some of the folks that like the poster come over and offer words of encouragement. One poster decides, because he’s tired of seeing threads like this, starts a pit thread called “I’m feeling depressed” and basically calls the fellow a whiny-ass bitch. He’s pissing on the guy’s feelings just because he doesn’t like “I’m depressed” threads in principle.
That’s not much different than this case. The principle of not liking “I’m leaving” threads is not so important that you have to disrespect somebody else’s feelings.
