Silly me. I thought the point was that he finds “I’m leaving the boards” threads that turn into ego-strokes to change the OPs mind to be annoying as hell. We had a ton of them when the boards went pay-to-post, and now more (I recall one from a week or two ago, but I don’t remember who it was).
Maybe I’m wrong, though. I’m not nearly as smart as everyone else here.
Sol, I don’t think this quite breaks the capital-J Jerk rule. It’s just small-j jerk stuff that’s allowed in the Pit. It’s petty, piddly, high school clique bullshit, but I don’t think it’s actually against any board rules.
