Wait. Did you see him in such bad shape on the bus just one day, or two consecutive days? It’s hard for me to understand the timelines because your OP and the above post are timestamped at about 2 in the morning (my local time, PST) on two consecutive days (Wednesday and Thursday). So I’m confused about what things happened on what days.
He first approached you on Tuesday? And you saw him again on Wednesday when he collapsed?
ETA: And, reading your OP more carefully, it looks like the guy has been chatting with you and calling you by name for some time before this – not something that he just suddenly did for the first time when he said he was planning to kill himself? Is that right?
Good point. I asked my friends and none of them know who this guy is and they certainly didn’t tell him anything since they don’t know of him! I’m starting to wonder how he knows our names.
Yikes. From your description of him on the first day, it’s surprising that he was there at all on the second day. One would have thought he’d be hospitalized – or dead – before that.
If this ever happens again (and I sincerely hope it doesn’t), don’t hesitate to call the non-emergency police line on 101 and tell them what you’ve told us in the first post here.
Hospitals in the UK proactively call non-relatives and tell them the fates of someone they barely know? Wow, that wouldn’t fly here in the U.S., what with HPIAA laws (related to privacy) and so on.
This is so sad. I can’t believe this happened to you, I just can’t believe it. I’m so sorry.
And by “This is so sad. I can’t believe this happened to you, I just can’t believe it. I’m so sorry,” I actually mean “this entire thread is a load of bullshit.” But keep on feeding it.
I imagine the London obituaries are on-line. If one were to check for the next couple of days of a young man of about 17 that died on the day she gave, it might give credence to her story, or not. Of course, not all have obits, but the vast majority do, I think.
I would say that the odds are pretty good that a young man in the 15-20 age bracket in the London area died today. And I doubt the obits will mention that he died after turning yellow and collapsing in a bus.
To tell me how he’s doing…I know you guys don’t believe be but he really did die. His parent just called me since they were given my number by the hospital. They wanted to know who he last spoke to. I feel so bad for him. He was so cute.
