All you’re doing is calling me names and throwing politics into it. The name calling indicates you don’t have control of your emotions. The politics is just pointless. Gun owners exist in large numbers by members of all parties. There were no guns involved in the video yet you felt the need to bring it up. What you’re doing is projecting your preconceived prejudices on a complete stranger.

I didn’t make an argument that a stick is more dangerous a weapon than a 4,500 lb car. That’s a strawman argument you’re making and frankly a poor one at that.

A stick is a stick until it’s used as a weapon. A car is transportation until it’s used as a weapon. Whether one is a better weapon than the other is irrelevant to the discussion.

In this case the driver was in his vehicle for the purposes of transportation. We don’t know why Stickman was wearing a mask and carrying a stick. he doesn’t appear lame so it’s not as a walking stick. But it’s just a stick until it’s used as a weapon. It’s reasonable to assume the mask is to hide his face so he can’t be identified. So either he’s very shy or doesn’t want to be identified by the police.

regardless of why he was carrying a stick it became a weapon when he used it to damage the car. Clearly the mask wearing/stick carrying/traffic blocking man isn’t happy that his continued attempts at blocking the car go unheeded. But the driver pulls away from the curb slowly giving him the opportunity to cease his activity unharmed. And he was unharmed until he damaged the vehicle. He elevated it to a fist fight and lost. None of this would have occurred had he not started the harassment in the first place.

So not only was the vehicle not used to harm him his own weapon was taken from him and thrown away. He should be grateful it wasn’t used on him.

Have a closer look. It’s one and the same. And the “stick” is an umbrella. And it was not used in hitting the vehicle as it was tucked into the pedestrians backpack and fell out. The pedestrian did hit the door of the truck with his fist after being shoved by the moving vehicle.

I too am shocked, disappointed and deeply saddened that right-wing groups would use lies, damned lies and propaganda in such an obviously manipulative manner to rally rubes and racists to their cause.
