Huh?
Reported. As spam. (It’s a joke.)
Stand up, Kolak, it’s flying way over your head!
Spam musubi is on the menu of every Hawaiian BBQ place I’ve been to - they’re quite common in the Los Angeles area now. That stuff’s good! (My wife dislikes it, but not because of the Spam; she can’t stand the seaweed.)
I was expecting Spam.
Another spam musubi addict chiming in. I make 'em for breakfast now and then, whenever I have some leftover Japanese rice from the night before. I like to dip the fried spam slices in some gingery teriyaki sauce before proceeding with making the musubi. Add a side of fresh chilled pineapple or papaya, and it’s like being in Hawaii.
Almost.
I’ve never ever in my 35 years of living, ever had Spam.
Ever.
I now feel I am missing out.
I wonder how it would taste mixed with hamburg and grilled into hamburgers?
Hmmm…
I firmly believe it would taste tasty. It would add a salty porkiness to the burgers.
My favorite way to eat Spam is panfried until brown and a little crispy on the outside, melt a little American cheese on top, serve on buttered griddled white bread. So salty and good, but you’ll crave a lot of liquids the rest of the day.
