This is my first post anywhere, ever!

As I said, this is my first post anywhere, ever. It’s a test post.

This is my second post anywhere, ever. But it is my first post with signature!

Woo-hoo! Welcome! This is a test reply.

This is the first time I have quoted someone in a post.

Good for you.

A few words:

[li]Read the forum descriptions. So far you’re doing fine, but even the regulars can get lazy.[/li][li]Read your terms of service agreement. It is available, I’m sure. Follow it well.[/li][li]Don’t be a jerk.[/li][li]Learn the rudiments of vB code. There isn’t much to know, really, but it really improves your posts if you know enough to quote people and make lists like this one. How to make your text bold, underlined, and italicized are also good skills to know. You can find them here.[/li][li]Listen to the moderators and administrators, and respect them. They do their jobs here for free and put up with shit from the slime molds that crawl in here every so often.[/li][li]Stay out of the BBQ Pit for a little while. That isn’t a hard-and-fast rule, per se, but it looks bad if you log a lot of time in that argumentative forum as a newbie.[/li][li]Learn to use smilies. You can find them here.[/li][li]Most of all, have fun. Ask questions. Answer questions. Share information, teach and be taught, and never forget that the people you interact with are humans, not machines. We all have bad days. We all have misunderstandings. We all have problems. But we can all be civil, if not friendly.[/li][/ul]
I think that covers it. But anyone can be wrong, so never be afraid to call someone on a mistake. Just be nice about it.
