I assume that’s the Fist of Justice you’d use to beat your wife and young children (as long as the assault leaves no physical marks).
That said, I don’t know that UAE law is all that different than US law in this regard. I mean, in the US, you’re not allowed to hit your wife, physical marks or otherwise, but the general standard for when physical punishment of children is legal and when it’s child abuse is whether or not it leaves physical marks.
Because it seemed better than a picture of a beaten woman and child, probably.

I used to think the same. Then they came out with the 2068, which screwed the pooch. For a long time I tried to make due with 16K, but when the C64 came out, I gave up my principles and switched. I’ve got my eye on the 128, but not sure if there is enough software that truly takes advantage of the extra memory.
Still, where can you get a system with a mylar keyboard these days? It’s been decades and I *still *can’t get used to these modern keyboards with their bouncy keys, all separate and springy and tactile…

Is there any company that deals solely in oil from the Norwegian fields? Not that it really matters, oil being fungible and buying decisions pretty much based on “what’s nearby when my tank is running low”.

If that’s really what you took away from that thread topic then you really aren’t half as smart as you think you are. There’s a huge difference between the police using pain to force compliance in emergency/difficult situations against people they do not know, and a husband/father beating family members without leaving physical marks (which is not the same as “no injury”).

I’ve always used them because I heard they don’t get their oil from the mid east.

The largest seller of oil to the US is… wait for it… Canada. Admittedly, a lot of that is tar sands oil, which has its own problems, but they don’t include torture. However, my impression is that all the oil goes into the same pipelines and refineries, so when you fill up, you’re getting a blend from all sources. Is that not true?
