That’s right, I’ve never done this before…what is it you ask? Well, one quick glance at my post counter and you’ll see what I’m talkin about!
I’m against post-count parties, but after a thousand, I think it’s well deserved!
Thank you for your time, thank you for the last 6 months that I’ve been hanging around, thanks for the friendships I’ve made, the discussions I’ve had, and the advice offered when requested.
Please relegate any negative post-count party comments to a pit thread, there you can mercilessly flame my ass black!
I assume that this means that you are never posting again, otherwise you would break the beautiful symmetry of the OP. Either that or close this thread and continue posting to your hearts content.
Howzit that in almost half the time you have almost twice the posts? My husband and children are always after me about how much time I spend here and yet I can’t keep up with the so-called newbies.
I guess I have nothing to say half the time. Or too much to say none of the time. Mostly it’s not enough to say most of the time.
“What is GaWd was one of us” . . . dewt, you got the quote wrong, friend. “yeah . . . yeah . . .GaWd is good. Yeah, yeah, GaWd is great. What if GaWd was one of us? Just a slob like one of us? (something I don’t remember) trying to make his way home.”
O.K., so it’s not twice the post in half the time. It’s, umm. . . Let’s see. Divide March by Feburary. Times it by 1000 and add the square root of, um. . .
Somebody else do the math. I have a headache. I have to get off the boards anyway. My kids are after me for some food. They’re always after me. 3 sometimes 4 times a day they wanna eat. No wonder I can’t keep up.
I’m so sorry… when you hit 975, I started planning your party. I sent out the invitations, called the caterers and bought a shitload of beer, I put the band on notice and started lining up strippers.
Things have just been so hectic around here and work has just been so unpredictible that you slipped my mind…damn me!
Anyway, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me, have a great 1000’th.
