This Just In...Fox News Channel is bunch of lying fucks

I refuse to look; but are they still running the picture of six Scary Black Persons in conjunction with their poisoned well headline?

p.s. I know it’s the same guy but in the chaotic jumble of neurons making up Faux veiwer’s anuses, it’s six separate SBPs.

Actually, since criminal is singular and the picture show one person on top and six at the bottom, I thought at first it was the one at top who was the criminal.
I suppose I could have read the article, but didn’t want to.

Apropos nothing, some years ago I remember being at some restaurant and there was a TV with the (non-Fox) news on in the background discussing a murder in which a black man was apparently killed by a white woman. They had their pictures on the screen labeled in large letters as “Victim” and “Suspect”. That is the only time I’ve seen that and it was pretty clear that it was because without the labels everyone would have automatically assumed theor roles in the incident would be reversed.

Did she look like a debutante?

I can see that on non-Faux news. Faux can’t even get (D) and (R) correct. Most of the behind the scenes workers are either stoned or day drinking based on the content they put out.

The Fox News website has a story today on Boston’s Brigham and Women’s hospital removing a 31-year-old man from the heart transplant list because he refused to be vaccinated against Covid-19. They tagged the story “Heartless”.

In the body of the story is the following:

“Dr. Arthur Caplan, the head of Medical Ethics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, told CBS Boston that vaccination is necessary for transplants because the patient’s immune system is essentially turned off.”

“The flu could kill you, a cold could kill you, COVID could kill you. The organs are scarce, we are not going to distribute them to someone who has a poor chance of living when others who are vaccinated have a better chance post-surgery of surviving,” he told the station."

They might also have noted that a patient with a full-blown case of Covid-19 would put fellow transplant patients and hospital staff at added risk.

The story itself is reasonably presented, not so the slimy editorializing.

Heartless. Someone likes clever titles.

The economy grew at the fastest pace since the 1980s or something. Nothing on Fox News about it – it would be all they talked about if there weren’t a Democratic president.

The weird thing is that the “lamestream” media (CNN, MSNBC) also aren’t trumpeting this to the skies. Where’s that lefty media bias when you need it? The NY Times has it on their main page, but at or below the “fold”, if that means anything online.

It was top-lined of the CNN website all morning.

Given that inflation is also the highest its been since the 1980’s, the economy is kind of a mixed message for Biden.

I totally agree, but I’ve been assured that the lamestream media is as bad as Fox, but in the other direction. I guarantee if the economy grew like that during Trump’s or Bush’s term, it would have been a huge headline on Fox all day.

Deficits Inflation doesn’t matter.”

Jesse Watters doesn’t say it, but he says that many people are telling him that VP Harris is having a ‘typical female problem.’

He’s really working Trump’s “I’m not saying this but many people are telling me” line. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Trump must love him.

He’s correct if by “a typical female problem” he means “being patronized by sexist assholes”. I imagine Harris gets that a lot, as do Watters’ female colleagues.

That guy is a sexist, racist piece of shit. I cannot believe he’s still employed, even by Fox, after that Chinatown stunt.

ETA, meant to reply to @Railer13, so I’m calling you out just in case you’ve missed my brilliant and insightful reply.

He didn’t say she was, he said “many people are saying this – I am not saying this, but many are saying!” He bears no responsibility for the rumors and gossip that he spreads.

Not just employed by them but as of this week, he’s been given the 7pm slot, which is pretty high profile.

To be fair, Fox News was doing the “many people are saying” bit long before Trump rose to power.

Nowadays their preferred method for dressing up opinion as news is by “reporting” on the tirades of their own cable personalities.

Former Fox anchor, Gretchen Carlson (who really got the quintessential Fox News experience herself) shares her thoughts about where her former employer has gone of late:

Points for her flair for understatement (and inevitable tu quoque argument(s))
