Greg Gutfeld of Fox, (and a few other people,) think Greta Thunberg has to do with this, somehow. These people are awful and I hope they get whatever they deserve. They probably won’t, but one can dream.

All the adults that took her opinion over the advancements of fracking and drilling or the necessity of coal are foolish. He then screems “How dare you!” A few times. That Russia and China are laughing at us listening to a “14 year old” talk about world affairs. “We got to go back to nuclear.” Sooner back to nuclear, we will be independent, like we almost were in, “the good old days”.
I think the reasoning from some of the mental morons at Fox is that they have to find someone else to blame other than Putin, because they’ve been told to find someone else to blame other than Putin.
So they’re flailing about.
Here’s Steve Bannon’s stupid take:

These people are basically the modern equivalent of going to a circus in the distant past to see a guy in a booth dressed in his underwear rolling around in the mud and biting the heads off chickens.
They are currently fighting to see who can be the most repellant, to attract the most eyeballs.
Trump is a Putin apologist. Russia was ejected from the G8 because of the Crimea invasion. As President, Trump lobbied hard to get Russia readmitted.
And don’t forget that Trump wanted to end NATO. The only winner of such a move would be Russia. He couldn’t have done much more to help Putin than his efforts against NATO.
If I understand it correctly, Bolton believes that if Trump was President, he would have given his blessing to the invasion. I see no reason to think that Bolton is wrong about that.

His new spin is that Putin is bad, but without him Russia would fall into chaos and start shooting nukes everywhere, so for the good of the world we should let him do whatever he wants. Either he’s on Putin’s payroll or Putin’s got him by the short and curly’s. That’s the only explanation I can come up with.
