This Just In...Fox News Channel is bunch of lying fucks

Today is Arraignment Day, and Fox’s top website story is about a topless transgendered person. With photos.

Tabloid.

That was so 15 minutes ago, now they are back on track with the stunning news that there are tapes of Bidens calls proving he accepted bribes. Of course none of the Fox people had actually heard any of these calls or know precisely what they say, but they could be Biden gleefully accepts 5 million dollars, and so that is what they are going to report.

Also the dangers of Transifa the radical trans movement that is beating people up. (I think they have the subject and object of that article reversed).

I don’t think Gavin Newsom is going to be invited back on to FOX any time soon. Great to see some push back against the talking points.

(Aside: what’s the correct way to post youtube links now? If I just paste the URL, discord automatically converts it to an embedded video…and then refuses to make my post as it says embedded media is not allowed :rage:)

Hmm, let me try…

Weird. I tried to edit in a sentence beneath the video and it told me discourse wouldn’t let me embed video.

That sentence was going to be: “That’s just pasting the bare YouTube link on its own line.”

Maybe the video on its own line has to be the last thing in a post? Any further testing should probably move to the test thread in ATMB.

Site Feedback has a long thread: Have links to YouTube been disabled? - #192 by Llama_Llogophile

That should put you at a place where if you scroll up a bit (I’m too lazy to find the exact spot), @DrStrangelove has done yeoman’s work in figuring out how to post video’s and explaining how. TLDR - easiest is to do the link as the very last thing and then immediately post.

I checked in with Fox and Martha McCallum was losing her mind over the fact that Hunter Biden has been under investigation for five years and nothing is being done about that while the corrupt FBI keeps indicting Republicans and IT’S JUST NOT FAIR! I thought she was supposed to be one of the saner ones.

I made the mistake of going to an article on the Fox News web site about the supposed Burisma tapes.

The comments were about how this stuff was all known for so long, and especially how all the wrongdoing of the Bidens was on Hunter’s laptop. The only reason nothing has been done is because there is a conspiracy to stop it.

Basically, the lack of evidence is proof of a conspiracy to prevent the evidence. There is no consideration that the evidence might not exist due to the claims being false. If a Republican claims something bad happened, then what they say has to be the truth, and the lack of proof is just proof itself of the Deep State.

I can’t imagine trying to function with that kind of mindset.

I went back into my notes and found this post I composed in 2019 regarding the “Biden fired a prosecutor to help Hunter and Burisma” narrative.

The story is the opposite of what the Republicans are alleging. The prosecutor Biden helped fire was assisting Zlochevsky in his crimes.

Quote from the link

“Hunter Biden had joined the board of Burisma in 2014, the same month that British officials froze Zlochevsky London bank accounts containing 23 million.
Britain’s serious fraud office, an independent government agency, was conducting a money laundering investigation and refused to allow Zlochevsky or Burisma Holdings…minor snip…access to the accounts.

But the British money laundering investigation was stymied by the Ukrainian prosecutors refusal to cooperate. The Ukrainian prosecutor would not turn over documents needed in the investigation and without that documentary evidence a British court ordered Britain’s serious fraud office to unfreeze the assets.

So the prosecutor that Biden fired HELPED the owner of Burisma steal 23 million dollars. Here’s another link, with a more detailed version of the story

This is not difficult to understand. Certainly the producers that are running the story at Fox understand what really happened. They suck.

Is that supposed to be some sort of portmanteau of “trans” and “Antifa”?

Did you make that up? If so, I hope you’re proud of yourself. NOT! And if you heard it from someone else, I hope you gave them a well-deserved thrashing.

You see, that’s why it’s pointless to even treat these folks like someone with all their mental faculties intact.

Like a true conspiracy theorist, there will always, ALWAYS be something deeper down in the conspiracy hole.

“Absence of evidence is evidence of evidence.”

Serious question: does “Hunter Biden’s laptop” actually exist? No, really. It stretches my credulity to think that Hunter Biden dropped a laptop filled with incriminating evidence off at some random NYC computer repair bodega. And that it just fortuitously ended up in GOP hands.
Can anyone enlighten me?

It was in the Fox article. I don’t know if they made it up or they were quoting someone else. Google seems to associate it most with MTG. But in any case but it’s absolutely not my fault.

I believe the answer is yes, there is a laptop that belonged to Hunter Biden. It’s not clear what was on the drive, because it has been through so many hands at this point. If there really was something actually damaging to Joe Biden, we definitely would have heard about it at this point.

If you trust PolitiFact, here is what they have to say about it, in one of their Donald Trump fact-checking articles.

‘Hunter Biden’s laptop was real’

It was real in the sense that it exists, but it didn’t prove much.

Trump allies obtained a laptop or copies of a laptop during the 2020 campaign that allegedly belonged to Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son. Over time, there has been less doubt that the laptop did in fact belong to Hunter Biden, though how the laptop came to be obtained by Trump allies and Trump-friendly media outlets is unclear.

The London-based Daily Mail has published a series of salacious findings from the laptop, including nude photos of Hunter Biden, that have focused on his drug use and legal problems. Hunter Biden has been open about his history as a recovering drug addict; he’s said it’s possible the laptop was stolen from him.

Nothing from the laptop has revealed illegal or unethical behavior by Joe Biden as vice president with regard to his son’s tenure as a director for Burisma, a Ukraine-based natural gas company.

They have a good reputation for fact-checking and lack of bias (and won a Pulitzer) so I generally trust them.

You and I both, but let’s remember with whom we’re dealing. The Pulitzer win is all the magats need to know to dismiss them as a source and condemn them as LSM (Lamestream Media).

Put a slash (/) after the link.

But…

Once you post it, you can’t edit the post.

You can if you tweak the link slightly, so that it looks different but still goes to the same video. Site Feedback has a tip on how to pull that off.

Thank you.
I guess I’ll file it under “buttery males”
