Oh, pictures! Sorry, sorry. This is a picture of us yesterday before I drove him to the airport (my mom took it) Us, with the lake in the background (this was taken right outside the screened porch of the cottage.) And here is the album of photos that we took out on the boat on Saturday evening. You see, we went out in the boat with a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers and stuff to watch the sunset. We put down the anchor and ate and sipped wine and talked and enjoyed the view. He told me what time the sun was supposed to set (down to the minute–he’d looked it up, which seemed a bit strange but I didn’t ask him why) and then when that moment came he said “the sun is setting! come up here!” and took me to the other end of the boat. And that’s where he asked me. So some of the photos in that album are just the pictures we were taking before the sun set, just because it was a pretty view, and some were right after he proposed.
And yes, you silly person, of course I said yes!!
