This Thing

I got this thing recently, after hearing about how freakishly accurate it is. But for me, the reesults were, for the most part, grossly inaccurate. Especially the last part. My brother, who sent it to me agreed that it was rather bad.
How does it work out for all of you? Is it just coincidence when it works, or am I just fucked up?

Those things are bad enough when I get them in my email. I open a page and see big red fonts proclaiming “Now this is freaky!.. Don’t Cheat!” I just close it automatically.

Complete rubbish, as such things always are.

I’ve seen this before. I never do it. Today, since you asked, I decided that I would. Some of the things on the list did turn out as they predict but only because it asks about what’s first in your mind and then correlates it later to the things most important to you.

I picked a very unrealistic wish. I called my sister to be one of the people I had to tell and she thought of a more unrealistic wish than me. She’s going to try it.

We’re doing it for science.
9. The tenth space is the song that tells you most about YOUR mind.
My choice: NIN “Closer”.

  1. and 11 is the song telling you how you feel about life.
My choice: I’m a little teapot.
Heh. All crap, but Og were those two answers worth it!

I think that’s one of the stupidest things I’ve seen online.

Sort of correct, but no. One of my people was my dad. Of course he’s someone I care about but “that won’t work out.” Ew.

What about the answer for #1 - the first number you wrote down. Apparently that doesn’t correlate with anything, huh?

Fun, but meaningless.

And the song that holds the key to Snick’s head is Let it Be*. Given the circumstances, it’s pretty close.

Feh - a pox on your warnings. My wish will never come true, no matter how many people I tell. If only it were so easy - I’d take out ads, I’d sell my soul for airtime, I’d send mass e-mails. I’d tell millions. If only it were so easy.

Ha! I remember doing this kind of thing in sixth grade. Anyway, the only good answer was “Classical Gas” for the way I feel about life. Nice.

Ah, crap, I have to tell 390 people about this test.

I do want to be rich and beautiful, but not that badly

Heh, indeed. Mine were, respectively, “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” and “Help!”

Actually, that last one is pretty accurate, come to think of it.

You know, some of these are interesting, but this one was just plain awful. Still, I did it because the Axe asked.

Anyway, my song about myself was “Too Shy”. Maybe ten years ago, but not now. Also,

Um? I put a random coworker?

Anyway, this is making me crazy:

Aaargh! Why does he feel he needs quotes?!

You think you have it bad? I put 71,451,000,000 in the second space. At least I didn’t go exponential. Guess my dreams not going to come true. :frowning:

I couldn’t find enough people to tell so I went into a Bible chat room and told about 50 people all at once. I Don’t know if anyone listened but listening was not one of the conditions. I made sure I described the whole thing in kind of a supernatural way.

Still haven’t gotten my wish. I should have put a specific time limit on the wish coming true.

The number of people I must tell about this game is pi.
The one I love is my girlfriend Jill.
The one I like but can’t make it work out with is my mom.
The one I care most about is my dad.
The one who knows me very well is my aunt.
Her husband/my uncle is apparently my “lucky star.”
The song that matches with my girlfriend is “Eat My Fuck” by gg allin and the Murder Junkies.
The song for my mom is “Gay Bar” by the Electric Six.
The song that tells most about MY mind is “They Saved Hitler’s Cock” by the Angry Samoans.
And the song that telling me how I feel about life is “Booze, Tobacco, Dope, Pussy, Cars!” by the Butthole Surfers.

Man, the whole thing was dead on! Uncanny!

Meh. I remember this kind of thing from 7th grade. Along with junk like:

do you like lynn bodoni
circle one

yes… no

Say, I wonder if they could make the fonts just a little bit larger. I was having a little trouble reading it.

I’m kind of worried. The song that goes with the person I love is “Jane Says.”

My song is “Love and Peace or Else.”

I get to tell 1985 people about this.

The only one it got right on me was the #3 question.

Apparently I’m in love with Nell Carter, and our song is “Conjunction Junction.”

Hmmm.
