Many of the beliefs Christianity holds are stupid to the unfaithful too, for example being willing to sacrifice one’s life instead of denying Christ as the son of God. But I bet you don’t see it that way.

<apropos of nothing>Francis Scott Key is pretty much the only alumnus of my college whose name may be recognized outside of academic circles. What most of us are most proud of, though is the dude who created MacGyver is also an alumnus. Mr. Key may have written a mediocre song about a busted-up flag; the guy whose name I can’t recall invented fucking MacGyver.
Who I’m sure (for the sake of making this post vaguely relevant) would come up with a far more impressive way of finding terrorists than “step on this book.”

What I said about damaged flags is true, they are destroyed unless in some battle or something, which would be just like korans in battle for moslems. My correct point was that kind of damage during a battle is not considered defacing it, and neither are our flags in a battle seen as shameful, but just the opposite, put on display.

Tel ,the strip club and all that drinking, they are dealing with non moslems to destroy them so they can do most anything including stuff a sin if they were in a moslem country. In other words it is a sin only if the others were moslem too and doing it.
That is a bit different when it is them deciding to step on a koran, when there is another choice available. Yes in time they probably would be told that is ok too, but it would take time. By then we’d have better explosive detectors and all that.
