I can’t help but notice that this thread (What if LotR…) has a huge number of de-lurkers/fresh out of the woodwork posters. Heck, I counted 40 on page 6 alone! (Many with only that one post, too.)
So, naturally, I wondered what other threads have brought so many new members to the Board?
The “Who is the ultimate lurker?” thread brought out quite a few.
I don’t remember if that is the exact name, I’m too lazy to do a search.
Typically, threads that make “Threadspotting” seem to fit this profile.
Also, the Polycarp thread is a good example. Lots of people from other boards dropping in.
