I don’t remember it having much effect my first time ------- but that was very very long ago. I suspect former pothead pixies reliving their youth.

I was a little disappointed in the video–they just seemed kind of giddy in a way that I don’t even need to refer to weed to explain. No giggles, no paranoia, not even slowed speech or anything like that.
I thought that the game of Cards Against Humanity was the funniest part of the video.
When was your first time? The plain brown weed that was common in the sixties and seventies quite often didn’t have any noticeable effect on first time smokers, particularly if they were already drunk the first time they tried it. Pot has grown increasingly more potent in the years since then. There are varieties available now that will get even experienced users high off just a couple hits.
I remember very well my first time, and they didn’t even come close.
I dunno what weed was like in the 60s, but I can surely affirm that it is startlingly easy to get some results with what is currently available. My first was a couple years ago and went something like: hit-nothing a minute later; hit-nothing 3 minutes later; hit-buzz; hit-on my face, not having a grand time and wishing I could give back the last two.
