Three Home Runs in both game and season--done before?

Baseball Dopers will remember Dan Johnson, who hit the home run with two outs in the ninth inning, that salvaged Tampa Bay’s playoff bid on the last night of the 2011 season.

He spent most of this season in the minor leagues. The White Sox called him up in September, and he did well, going 8-for-22 with 9 walks as a pinch-hitter and utility player.

Last night he did really well, hitting three home runs. They were his only home runs of the season. Clearly he has a fetish for the last game of the year.

But I wonder, has anybody ever hit three home runs in a game before, and also hit only three home runs for the season? It seems like an odd combination.
