I’ve been talking to my friends the last couple of weeks about obscure cartoons. When I came up with Tiger Sharks, however, they all looked at me like I was crazy. I at least made believers of them when I found a few pictures on the internet, but there is no other info I could find. Can anyone help me with how long this show ran and maybe a website with some info, or am I the only one who ever actually viewed this obscure cartoon?

The Tiger Sharks were part of a segment in the Comic Strip TV series, along with “Karate Kat” and a couple of others. Perhaps that would help.
I just wanted to add that nobody remembers Tigersharks whenever I bring it up, either. I really liked that show as a kid.
Dragonstein
Captain Bizzarely
Wallro
Bowfin son of Redfin
I remember the show. I would prefer to forget.
[sub]except for Dragonstein. That was clever[/sub]
I think I saw it once or twice – these dudes dove into a pool in their ship and it turned them (temporarily) into human/shark hybrids. I don’t recall much about it other than at the time I considered it a weak sister version of my favorite cartoon, Silverhawks.

Come on take a trip down the comic strip!
They had a toy line complete with metamorphizing heads (they flipped into the back of the toy and a new head showed up)

It’s got a picture of the Tigersharks along with the other cartoons that were a part of it.
