I’m just thinking of a darker possibility - perhaps it’s not that the crooks did a good job of concealing the doughnuts, but the cops have found them! cops - doughnuts - it doesn’t take much to see a possible explanation…
I doughn’t think the thieves will turnover the evidence, but maybe one of them will prove to be a patstry.
As long as the police weren’t frittering away their time trying to find the perps.
