This has been floating around for a while, but in case you haven’t had the pleasure, it’s a photo gallery of kids, some in various stages of freak-out, with Santa.
The Santas in #7 and 9 look like they are completely sloshed.
#11 is one I used as my desktop background last year, when half the family was sick and we were all miserable; it just seemed to mirror our feelings at the time.
Of course, I read the thread title as “sacred Santa.” :smack:
Thanks for sharing that! Reminds me of many of the lavish Christmas parties put on by my dad’s employer in the early '60s. Booze flowed freely, to the Santa as well as the moms and dads.
I’m sending this link to my brother, who does a gig every year as Santa.
Ha! I just saw the cover picture from the Sidekick section of today’s Boston Globe, and there’s a picture of one EEEvil Santa. Unfortuunately, I can’t find the picture on their online edition.
It’s from a new place, Silentt Night of the Lambs, which features Santa Claus as Hannibal Lecter. Here’s the play’s site:
Eve - that’s exactly what I did - my friends are the same way. One of our best friends, Fred, used to PLAY Santa for one of the elementary schools in the area - I think that’s what “turned him” when it comes to kids…he’s going to get such a hoot out of this!
I can trace the exact moment that I stopped watching “Gilmor Girls” to being the very first time I saw Lauren Graham happily impailed on top of ‘Bad Santa’ shouting “Fuck me, Santa…! Fuck me, Santa…!”
He’s supposed to fill your stockings with toys, you Ho-ho-ho…!
