Wolf Like Me by TV on the Radio
You can’t go wrong raiding the catalogs of Siouxsie & the Banshees, Kate Bush, Diamanda Galas and Happy Rhodes for creepy songs.
Here’s the playlist of one of my ancient Halloween radio shows. A few songs/artists were requests. I raided YouTube and linked the ones I could find. Not all the songs would seem Halloweenish by their titles, but they sound creepy or the lyrics are creepy. There are a variety of genres here, from truly demented experimental to jazz to pop, ecto, and so on.

Boo!
(I was kicking myself for leaving one whole pile on LPs/CDs/cassettes at home because this was originally set to be a 2-hour show that turned into a 3-hour show. This Kansas City version of my show (it also aired in Chicago for several years) ran from 10:00pm-12:00am Saturday night. I lucked out this night when it was not only Halloween, it was Daylight Saving. Mine was the last show before the station shut down for the night. At one minute to midnight, when I was gearing up to play the sign-off, my husband set the clock in the studio back an hour. I said something like “Well, would you look at that! It’s only 11:00pm, and I still have another hour! Oh good” and continued on. I thought sure I’d get into trouble but no one from the station ever said anything.)
