Mathematical symbols are section 23.3.1. To use one, simply take the code to the left of the entry. Add an ampersand (&) to the front and a a semicolon (
to the end. For instance, here’s one entry:
<!ENTITY infin CDATA “&#8734;” – infinity, U+221E ISOtech →
The code in infin, so in order to make the infinity symbol we type in:
∞
This is not guaranteed to show up correctly on all browsers, so you should probably be redundant.

Yeah, but once you get the hang of it, times, cent, and eacute are easier to remember than 0215, 0162, and 0233.
