Does anyone know if there are keyboard shortcuts for mathmatical symbols, eg infinity, does not equal ?

Mathematical symbols are section 23.3.1. To use one, simply take the code to the left of the entry. Add an ampersand (&) to the front and a a semicolon (:wink: to the end. For instance, here’s one entry:

<!ENTITY infin    CDATA “&amp#8734;” – infinity, U+221E ISOtech →

The code in infin, so in order to make the infinity symbol we type in:

This is not guaranteed to show up correctly on all browsers, so you should probably be redundant.

That looks a bit more complicated than alt+ shortcuts but I’ve bookmarked the sight for reference.

Yeah, but once you get the hang of it, times, cent, and eacute are easier to remember than 0215, 0162, and 0233.
