I’m in an unusal position, I need to write a few letters of recommendation for myself. These letters are to help me with my bachelor’s degree. One set of letters will go to the Financial Aid department, the other set will go to the head of the university’s biology department (my major). Two letters will be signed by my boss, and two letters will be signed by a doctor we work with. Both of these men are very busy, but are willing to sign a letter that I write. I have never done this before 
What I know: I have worked with these to men since November 2005. As a lab assistant I have be responsible for ordering supplies, balancing grant funds and organizing meetings. I have also been managing a colony of transgenic mice, something I have beening doing for over five years for different researchers.
The goal: To get the Financial Aid office to grant me students loans and for the biology department to agree to give me college credit for the research I do.
So far, what I have found on the web is not very helpful. Any tip or suggestions would be appreciated.
