You guys really don’t want to get into the mess between the posters of ASH and lekatt back in 98. Trust me you don’t. Just understand that lekatt has no interest in your input and views himself as already posessing all the knowledge he will ever need. His mind is officially closed.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. Let it go, if only for the sake of your own sanity. Keep these lessons close to your heart and feel free to fire off a warning bouy if he surfaces in another thread so others don’t have to learn the lessons the hard way.

I am truly honored and humbled to be posting on the same message board as Leroy Kattein.
(not sarcasm)

I think that he is worthy of commemoration as a celebrity of the somewhat infamous type. I think he is well on his way to earning a place in netlore.
I think that everyone should recognize what a giant of lekattism we have among us.

He’s the only person I know of whose posts have been credited with the potential to drive someone to suicide.

I found out that he is cited on several foreign language sites related to NDE’s.
I discovered that everyone of the arguments that I’ve seen used against his assertions about life after death, NDE’s, psychics, etc here on the SDMB has also been used somewhere else with equal success.

I move that new people who encounter Lekatt shouldn’t be warned against arguing with him until they Pit him.

I hope Lekatt never leaves.
