Two aspects of Lekatt (and therefore another two dimensions to “lekatting”) that haven’t been discussed yet are
1/ his penchant for flatly contradicting himself
2/ his habit (when being asked for cites) of stating that he’s already given them when he hasn’t, or giving a link to a site and insisting it supports his position when it does not.
If you’ll permit me these extensions to the definition of lekatting, fine examples of the technique can be found displayed by peter morris in the above thread.
If we keep feeding him, he stays here and spends time trying to convince people who know hes a whackjob about his POV. If we let him wander off…he might find someone who believes him.
