If what you’re saying gets jokes made about it by the pros, then perhaps it’s time to reconsider. Is that really not clear?
I really couldn’t ask for much more out of this and the deflategate threads. Now that Kraft has decided to stop his fight against the punishment given to him by the NFL, ElvisL!ves rises to the pantheon of braindead Patriot’s homers, where reality is whatever he wants to make of it. His assertions were proven wrong and his narrative has had to change to deal with each subsequent loss. At least he was consistent in his inability to perceive and deal with reality and to fling insults and gobbleygook instead of rational discussion.
I’m almost sad it’s over. But I’m sure Elvis will find other, more inane ways of making himself look the fool. At least I can count on that.
In short, “J-E-T-S!”
Want to hear a riddle?
Why did Tom Brady ask the ball boy to deflate his balls?
Because he’s a fucking cheater.
Come on, Hentor, that’s not fair.
McNally is a locker room attendant, not a ball boy.
Hey, Hentor, how’s it goin’, buddy? Got any news for us?
I love it that the Patriots have two draft picks taken and are fined a million dollars for cheating, and yet you are still trying to declare victory.
What cheating are you referring to? And on what evidence?
Been over that thoroughly, buddy. You’ve been categorically and comprehensively wrong throughout the saga, and you remain completely gutless about it too. Now go cry into your cheesehead hat, loser.
See, it’s pathological with you. You lie. You misrepresent. You repeatedly get caught being wrong. Yet through it all, you claim victory. The Patriots were docked two draft picks and fined a million dollars for tampering with the inflation levels of footballs. Yet, somehow, you continue to try and pretend that is some kind of victory for the Pats. The combination of massive stupidity and delusional re-writing of history would be amusing if you weren’t such a prick too.
So, nothing. No evidence (you know it was fabricated but insist on claiming it to be true anyway), therefore no cheating, despite your continued lies (and those of Goodell and Wells, which you also are aware of), nothing but your pubescent invective.
Sad. Typical of you, but still sad.
Elvis, do you understand what today’s ruling was about?
It’s Elvis. Expecting even a semblance of reality to creep into him or even a modicum of honesty, is like expecting a dog to recite the Gettysburg Address. He’s a joke, not just about football, but everywhere on the board. He’s a sad, pathetic little prick who is so far gone that he doesn’t even realize how little regard people have for his opinions. He posts to get people, like me, riled up. Bad on me for letting him.
Of course, the procedural issues, which were always a sideline even if they led toward a just ruling. But it’s a good time to get an update from the Peanut Gallery about views of the combination of cherry-picking and outright falsification of the evidence itself, which has been a topic of conversation all along. So has the selectivity of the “investigation” that some would, and have, called a sting operation.
There are still some “sportsmen” on the board who are failing this latest ball check, though, and quite comically at that.
And, by “procedural issues”, I of course mean “railroading”. Judge Berman said it better, though.
Aaack, I’m just so sick of the effing Patriots constantly pushing the envelope of every rule and regulation in the League and either getting away with it or screeching to high heaven until they get their way like a bunch of spoiled toddlers!
There was a basketball team we played in high school. They made it a practice to always have a toe over the line when they were shooting a free throw or inbounding a ball. They’d maybe get called on it a time or two in the beginning of the game, but the referees quickly realized that they weren’t going to stop doing it and if the referees wanted to take a stand against the practice, we’d have been there all night while the refs called penalty every 2 seconds. So by dint of doing it constantly, they got away with it. This is exactly what irks me about the Patriots. They are always pushing the envelope in every direction and they get away with it because no one has the resources to constantly call them on it and no one has the patience to deal with the mess that would result if you did. So as long as they don’t cheat too egregiously, they get away with it.
They are the most unsportsmanlike, unprofessional bunch I’ve ever had the displeasure to witness. I don’t like their tactics nor their personnel, and although they don’t give a rats ass, I refuse to legitimize them by watching their games until the current group of management and players is gone. I realize they may be replaced with clones of the current bunch, so I reserve the right to continue to ignore them if that’s the case.
Do you really think the evidence supports that view? Or are you simply footstamping like poor little Hamlet?
…Well, it wouldn’t be the first time air leaked out of Patriots’ Talking Points…
I’d be more upset ifnthe judge somehow ruled about the evidence or suggested that Brady didn’t do it. He instead ruled that Brady was never warned that he could be suspended if he deflated balls, or at least if he was aware that ball deflating was going on.
The thing that mattered to me was the evidence, and the fact that everyone knows that Brady cheated. I have every expectation that he’s going to have the worst season of his career, and I’m looking forward to it!
Gotta pick one or the other of those, friend. Can’t be both. So, which?
Based on what?
Oderint dum metuant.
Well, looking at an AP report about this ruling:
