According to the Admiral talking on CNN, small boats routinely go out to meet big ships to pull them in or something, and they probably thought that’s what it was.
the sad thing is my brother inlaw is out in the gulf at this time protecting these bags of human waste and as of the 18th i to will be reporting to my duty station to try and save thier worthless souls as well. but to answer how it happened is simple we trust to many people and by that fact we are believing that we are invincible so we didnt think a little raft could hurt us i just hope that we find the group that did this aand i know that the navy as a whole will gladly bomb them for payback. its just sad that i myself can’t be the one to push the launch button.
