Toasted pumpkin seeds: your favorite seasonings

It’s that time of year again – roasty toasty tasty pumpkin seeds! YUM!
so, share your favorite and/or unusual-but-delicious seasonings for them.

I like to toss mine with a mixture of melted butter and olive oil, then sprinkle with Adobe seasoning, fresh cracked pepper and a little dried basil.

I’m boring. I like butter (or butter flavor) and salt. Like popcorn, only nummier!

As a Baltimorean*, I prefer Old Bay seasoning.
It adds a nice spiciness to them.

  • I put Old Bay on nearly everything. It’s required.

At what temperature do you roast your seeds? For how long? I’ve never tried butter - that sounds scrumptious!

Pass the salt!

Well, I made mine last night, and they were fabulous.

Roast them on a cookie sheet at 325 for about 15 minutes (or until golden brown), stirring often.
