No, I’m not homeless and sleeping on a friend’s couch. Although I’m sure that’s coming. Nope, I decided to finally put my music up where I can earn money from it.
I upload my fugue, and my cover of Auld Lang Syne, both instrumental and lyrical versions. Now, I can start earning a third of a penny every time somebody listens to it. Why do I suspect I’m going to be my own best customer?
Still, I’m excited. It is a bit wild knowing that my music can now be heard be people other than the select groups to which I’ve shared it.
Uhhh. Like all of them. LOL I used a distribution service. Note, it isn’t live yet. I made this post thinking it would be up near instantly, but it takes about a week.

I sent a message to the mods to get some further clarification on what I may and may not do. If I can share them in any way, then I will. I would love for those of you interested to hear my music.
Yeah me too. I meant the “Uhhh” in that context (just for clarity). It seems it sends it to YouTube Music. I wonder if it will show up on my YouTube channel?
And I did get permission from the mods to create a thread where I can share a link to my music. I’m just waiting for stuff to actually get uploaded. It should be pretty soon I would think.
Hehehe, the classic joke is it is when you’re willing to haul $500 of equipment 50 miles to make $25.
Personally, I think it’s when you’re willing to do it in front of someone else, and/or are willing to record it and put it out there. At that point, you’re a real, producing musician. It’s up to the public to decide whether they want to listen or not.
