Today is 4/20, you know what that means, right?

Why of course it’s National Lima Bean Respect Day.

Does that mean you’re supposed to eat 'em or not? I mean if you respected them would you eat them?
Should I hold the door for them?
Require you to call them the next day if they spend the night?

They couldn’t come up with a better name than Respect Day? :o
This source says it’s also Pineapple Upside-down Cake Day, along with Grilled Cheese Month; you can celebrate all three in one meal!

Today is my high holiday.

It’s Wednesday?

Hitler’s Birthday?

Anniversary of the Columbine shootings?

It’s not the same as 1/5 because we’re not in math class.

Wow - I had grilled cheese last night, and I had no idea I was celebrating!

It’s also the feast Day of St. Marian, who was noted to have great effect over animals. So a giant steak is probably appropriate as well. (As thought there are times a giant steak isn’t appropriate)

Love me some limas, but I didn’t see the porcine flavoring bits in the picture. You have to have something porkish cooking with the beans, you HAVE to!

Some corn wouldn’t hurt, either. ::insert Sylvester joke here::

I live in Oregon-I should check to see if some of the local shops are having any 4/20 sales…especially during their “4:20-5:20” Happy Hour.

It’s the 17th anniversary of my father’s death.

It’s the day my web site charges renew for another year.

<Looks outside for black birds.>

Chag Sameach!

I’m teaching class today. I’m planning to end class at exactly 4:20 on 4/20 and see if anyone notices.

We have a local bar and tapas place that opens at 4:20 every day. The name of the place is “My New Joint”.

L’Chayim!!

My younger brother’s birthday, too. Happy B-day, Wil!

Happy 4/20 everyone, just remember tomorrow is April 21st, national surprise drug test day!

Boooooooo!!

Well, it ain’t really a party until someone sticks their Ding Dongs in the Doritos.

Best of both worlds.
