My first reaction is an owl/beaver hybrid.

My thought was the red panda (aka firefox). I thought it looked raccoon like, but the body wasn’t right. And that’s what a red panda looks like.
Though, given that it’s not red, a tanuki makes more sense. Raccoon face, different body.
Clearly it’s a winner.
