Tom Magliozzi of Car Talk has died.

Very sad. RIP.

Merged two threads.

So sad, irrationally sad at this.

Wow. What a loss. :frowning:

Me too. :frowning:

Pikov made the final drop off, and in the car were Ben Goode-Tanoya, C. U. Later, and Will Missya.

“No matter what it is, it’ll cost you $200; If that’s what it is.”

Godspeed, Tom.

NPR had excellent highlight broadcast today. Not sure about nationally, but here in Maine our local NPR is rerunning that at 3 PM tomorrow and replaying an interview from the past at 4.

Absolutely love their laughter!

I wish some clever person would make a button, like the “drama button” (dramabutton.com) of Tom’s laugh. I would love that.

Ray and the producers did a superb job of choosing show-highlights from over the years. Tommy’s genius really shines through.

Just don’t listen to this one without a handkerchief at the ready.

I know, I wasn’t a regular listener or anything, couldn’t have told you when it would be on, but always listened when I chanced across it. Heard todays show, I’m laughing and getting weepy at the same time.
