We have found in the past that when someone opens a thread with the intention of calling the actions of a moderator into question, it too often devolves into a flame war, and the thread would end up being moved to the Pit because of that.
Rather than having half the “discussion of Moderator actions” in ATMB and the other half in the Pit depending upon intensity level, it was decided that it was easiest to gather them all in the Pit. After all, there is absolutely nothing preventing a Pit thread from being respectful, intelligent, and non-profane; the Pit merely leaves open the avenues of disrespect and profanity that some people seem compelled to fall in to when discussing Moderation actions, the god-damned pig felching goat shitters.

But what was being discussed in the thread was rebellion against the government of the US who were unhappy by the election results. So, in that case, it wouldn’t be self determination…it would be a minority trying to overthrow a government elected by the majority of voters.
Who said anything about overthrowing? Not me. I don’t necessarily want to live in a Red State, but wouldn’t try to force Red Staters who clearly don’t like it to live like me, either.
What about setting up a separate nation from Jesusland?
