I don’t really care about the “Regards” schtick. Yes, it’s passive-aggressive bullshit on the level of “Democrat party”, but it’s pretty mild passive-aggressive bullshit.

That’s what I came in here to say. I’d describe Shodan’s “Regards” as a form of low-level trolling—maybe “trolly” is the right adjective. It doesn’t particularly bother me, but I don’t see it as entirely benign either. Shodan is one of those right-wingers who seems to think that “pissing off liberals” is one of the primary goals of conservatism, and “Regards” is his permanently-extended middle finger towards anyone who is Not Republican.
I feel the same way about “Democrat Party.” It’s a childish epithet, but it gets an eye-roll from me at most. It’s possible to acknowledge that something is intended to be annoying without being personally bothered by it (a point that seems to elude some Dopers).
Not nearly as annoying as your idiotic use of eclipses in lieu of any other punctuation.
